 Design Committee The Design committee works to beautify the JP business district while maintaining the historic character of the neighborhood. This committee focuses on storefront improvements, neighborhood clean-ups, and long-term planning for the Centre/South streetscape and public green spaces. Events & Promotions Co The Events and Promotions committee organizes exciting events as our Annual meeting, business openings, promotional events and the Artist’s Ball. The committee also spears heads the holiday shop locally campaign and web site development. Economic Restructuring Committee The Economic Restructuring committee works toward strengthening existing businesses and recruiting new ventures to the district. This committee maximizes the skills of its members in areas of urban planning and generating ideas to spur economic growth. First Thursday Committee The wildly successful First Thursday’s art stroll is organized by this committee. The event consists of 35 art shows and events on Centre Street and South Street on the first Thursday of each month from May- August with a special holiday event in December. Organization Committee The organization committee’s purpose is to communicate the organizations vision as well as work on the budget, fund-raising and organizational policies. |
