FIRST THURSDAY  

Recognizing the importance of the arts within the community, JP Centre/South launched an event series highlighting the work of area artists. Our goal is to combine art, music, and shopping.

The stroll has grown a great deal in six years and it is a favorite evening out for many of the residents and businesses. We work diligently to promote these events in surrounding neighborhoods in order to drive more foot traffic to the business district. These events encourage shopping locally and supporting local merchants.

Over 35 businesses participated by showcasing local artists in their stores and offices with wonderful receptions. All exhibits were extremely well attended and created extra sales for the local shops.
