As the Executive Director of JP Centre/South Main Streets, I am proud to be part of a dynamic program. Since I came on board in the spring of 2008, I have greatly enjoyed working to improve my favorite neighborhood. It has been a pleasure to work with such a remarkable board of directors that represent so many leaders in the Jamaica Plain community.
I would like to thank my our volunteers and committee members for their dedication. I would also like to thank my fellow Executive Directors whom I had the pleasure of working closely with on various Boston Main Street Projects. Lastly, I would like to thank the Boston Main Streets and Office of Business Development staff for their tremendous support, which has been critical to our success.The leadership of Boston Main Streets and the Department of Neighborhood Development.
I would like to thank the JP Business and Professional Association. Together, we have combined the efforts of the two organizations and co-sponsored the holiday stroll this year. Working in tandem with them has been critical to our success.
JP Centre/South is driven by the interactions of community-minded individuals and encourages strong volunteer participation. I am grateful to our talented volunteer team. I invite you to become an active part of our revitalization effort by joining one of our committees. We truly appreciate your fresh ideas, professional resources, and connections.
As a community, we must continuously look for innovative ways to spur economic growth and support our local merchants. I look forward to working togther to strengthen our community.
